Here's video from last night's Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance from Manny Pacquiao, including his duet with the host.
Part one is fairly uneventful. The good stuff comes in part two, when he's asked about Floyd Mayweather and hypes his new broccoli.
Manny Pacquiao on Jimmy Kimmel Live Conversation
PART 2AND DUEL AFTER THE JUMP
Kimmel: "Do you think he's scared to fight you?"
Pacquiao: "I don't know the reason, but I'm ready to fight."
Kimmel: "I have the solution to this. I really think I do, and this is not a joke. It's as simple as this. You think you're gonna win the fight, he thinks he's gonna win the fight, rather than any issue about the financial considerations, who gets what, whatever, winner takes all. Winner gets all the money. Would you sign up for a deal like that?"
Pacquiao: "I don't think he will."
Kimmel: "What about you? Would you do that?"
Pacquiao: "Of course."
Now, obviously, we're all boxing fans here. We may not know it all, but we damn sure know enough to realize that nobody in their right damned mind is going to agree to "winner take all" in a fight that could be worth up to $200 million in revenue. And there's no way in hell, on earth, or in the ocean that Bob Arum would ever, ever, ever agree to this. (And Manny wouldn't either, but it's a cute quote and gives us an eye-catching headline. Woops! Trade secrets!)
And as promised, here's the reason 90% of people will actually come here: Manny singing "How Deep Is Your Love" (yes, really) with Jimmy Kimmel.
