De Ghuma Ke - ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 Official Theme Song

The official theme song of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 which is going to start from February 19th this year is composed by the Indian popular music trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy as the World Cup is being hosted in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. It is released yesterday and will be performed at the opening ceremony of the World Cup on 19th February in Bangladesh.

The song is titled “De Ghumaa Ke” and is composed in three different languages Hindi, Bangla and Sinhalese. The theme song marks an enthusiastic expression of desiring to win in the competition. The people are getting anxious about the start of the World Cup next month which is nearly 49 days far from now. So, we hope the song serves more passionate for the competition to ‘Hit It Hard’ which the song literally means.
