Modern Style Kitchen Designs

Modern kitchens are more keen on aesthetics these days than they are on practicality. But perhaps the clean line simplicity of this style calls for hidden contraptions regarding all things functional. Either way, our friends at deviant art hooked us up with a creative perspective of the contemporary modern kitchen. As large or tiny as these cooking centers are, they really only provide about 25% of usable space! But beauty is definitely in the eye.

Kitchen Inspiration

Today we feature the work of Meedo, a Poland based design studio that specializes in architectural visualization. They have an impressive portfolio and we thought the kitchens were especially well put together. While most of these renderings wouldn’t pass for photorealism, some of them feature solutions for spaces that are ‘life-like’ (read short-on-area). They also show off open living concepts and there are even one or two images that portray one room living.

We had a dinner party the other day and we found that everyone just gravitated toward the kitchen, and stayed there! If you think about it, the kitchen is probably one of the most used rooms in the house. Well, in our house anyway.
